  1. Category Ranking

In the worldwide Category Ranking, AppTweak will show you your app's category rank for the selected category in all available countries. If you want to take a closer look at one country, you can simply click on the country in the map or in the table, this will lead you to the Analytics section of the specific country.

AppTweak highlights your app's top 3 best and worst-performing countries in terms of category rank. The indicated rank is the rank fetched today.

In the Cross-country analysis, you can compare your app's Category Rank across your followed countries. You can easily select the countries you'd like to see in your analysis using the filters.

AppTweak compares your app's current and average rank across the different countries and orders them from top to bottom so that you can immediately see the countries in which your app performs best and those where it is lagging behind.

AppTweak also shows your app's ranking history over time in each country and for the selected category, so that you can immediately pinpoint any unusual movements that are worth looking into.

Finally, AppTweak allows you to compare your app's ranking growth between 2 dates and across the selected countries.

2. Downloads

If you switch the metric from Category Rank to Downloads, you can easily analyze the worldwide performance of any app in terms of downloads. It will indicate in which countries the selected app is getting most of its downloads, but also the total downloads and average daily downloads worldwide.

NB: Downloads and Revenue estimates are available for Enterprise plans.

The table below the graph also allows you to sort countries by equivalent growth over the selected date range. As a result, you can identify which countries could be great in terms of opportunities. You can easily add these countries to your followed apps by clicking on the badge 0/2 next to the country and toggling the language you want to follow the app in.

Note: In the world map chart, each country is colored based on its level of downloads. The darker the color, the higher the number of downloads.

In the Crosss-countries analysis view, AppTweak shows you the Total and Average Daily Download Estimates of an app across the selected countries. You can also compare the share of downloads the given app is getting from each country of your selection. This allows you to see in a glance which countries are over or under-performing.

You can also view the download estimates per country over time to identify any unusual movements (peaks or spikes) that could be worth digging into.

This analysis is available for any app on the App Store and Play Store. You can also Connect your Google Play Reports and your App Store Connect in order to get the analysis but with your app's real downloads instead of estimations.

3. Revenue

By switching the app metric to Revenue, you can get an overview of any app's financial situation. The countries with the darkest shade of blue are the ones where revenues are the highest.

Conversion Analysis

Upon connecting your Google Play Console on AppTweak, you will be able to see the conversion rate of your app for every country in which your app is available in the Conversion Analysis tab. AppTweak also highlights your average conversion rate worldwide, as well as the country with the highest and lowest conversion rate.

๐Ÿ’กThis view can help you spot high and low-performing countries. The former can serve as examples for the latter.

Additionally, if you switch to a breakdown by source, AppTweak will show you your app's worldwide conversion rate for each source.

Subscriptions

Besides revenue, connecting the Google Play Console will be helpful for apps that offer subscriptions on their app.

In this tab, you can easily keep track of your new, active, and canceled subscriptions directly in AppTweak.

Your top keywords worldwide

Under Google Keywords you can see in which country your app is getting the most traffic from keyword searches. For this make sure that you have integrated your Google Play Console on AppTweak.

In the App Metric dropdown, you can select the data you wish to see (Store Listing Visitors, Store Listing Acquisitions, or Conversion Rate).

The overall KPIs show:

  • The total store listing visitors/acquisitions across all countries and search terms for the selected date range

  • The average daily store listing visitors/acquisitions across all countries and search terms over the selected date range

  • The growth in average daily visitors/acquisitions worldwide and across all search terms (current period vs. equivalent previous period).

If you switch the selector to conversion rate, the KPIs show:

  • The country with the highest conversion

  • The country with the lowest conversion

  • The average conversion rate worldwide over the selected date range

  • The growth of the worldwide conversion rate (current period vs. equivalent previous one).

In the world map chart, each country is colored based on its level of store listing visitors, store listing acquisitions, or conversion rate (depending on your selection in the filter bar). The darker the color, the higher the number of visitors, acquisitions, or conversion rate.

๐Ÿ’ก A country with high traffic from keywords can be used as an example for other countries. For example, you could check the keywords that bring the highest traffic in that country and see how visible your app is on similar keywords in lower-performing countries. This could be a source of inspiration for your ASO across countries.
