The Templates feature is here to help you save replies you know you will re-use in the future. This feature could be used when you have a lot of languages and you need to reply the same thing for a recurring bug, a thank you message, etc.
If you already have a list of templates you use, you can directly add them to your templates section. You will be able to decide how you categorize them by using the Folders section.
You will have to add a name to the template, the folder of your choice (if you already created one), and the template text.
From this page, you will be able to edit, delete, or duplicate your templates:
To better organize them, you have the Folders section:
Create a new folder and choose the templates you need to include in it. It can be by language, country, or even by agent!
A quick tip, once you have created new templates without a folder, you can easily drag and drop them in the folder of your choice:
π‘ If you delete a folder, it won't delete the templates inside the folder; your templates will be moved to the "Templates without folder" section.
How to use Templates in the Reviews section
Once you've created your templates, you can start the interesting part! Go to the Reviews section and start choosing from your templates!
Just click the review you need to reply to and click the template icon:
Then you will be able to pick the appropriate template to be added to the text input of the review. Simply click on the template name:
If you were writing a reply you would like to keep in the future, you can also decide to save it directly by clicking the "Save as template option":
How to use templates for bulk reply (Template Shuffler)
You can also use your templates in a different way by using bulk actions. With the Template Shuffler, you can pick several templates to respond to multiple reviews.
Once you have selected your templates, we'll randomly assign them to all your selected reviews. This can help you make sure users don't think you're just copying and pasting the same response for each review.
You can choose to either post your templates directly, or you can manually validate & make changes to each reply. After that, simply click the "reply" button to post each review.
We would be very happy to hear any feedback or suggestions you may have about the App Reviews Manager! Feel free to share any features you'd like to see with our team.
