Supported Features
Service Provider (SP)-Initiated Authentication (SSO) Flow - This authentication flow occurs when the user attempts to log in to the application from AppTweak.
Identity Provider (IDP)-Initiated Authentication (SSO) Flow - This authentication flow occurs when the user attempts to log in to AppTweak from Okta.
Requirements
Install the AppTweak application in your Okta instance
If you haven't already, sign up and create an AppTweak Account
The Okta Single Sign-On integration is only available for accounts under Enterprise plans
Make sure that the AppTweak members' emails exactly match their Okta accounts
Complete the steps below to set everything up
Configuration steps
After installing the application, you need to obtain some information that you will have to send to your AppTweak account manager.
In the Okta admin page, click on the AppTweak application and then navigate to the Sign On tab
Copy the values of Client ID and Client secret (click the eye button to toggle the visibility)
There should be a section that has a link titled OpenID Provider Metadata. Click this link. Copy the URL of that page.
Send the information to AppTweak
Once you have all the information (summarized below), contact your account manager
Client ID
Client Secret
OpenID Provider Metadata URL
AppTweak support will handle your request and get back to you once the integration is configured.
Login to AppTweak
In order to use the Service Provider (SP)-Initiated Authentication (SSO) Flow, once the integration has been configured correctly, you need to use the login with SSO feature
Navigate to the login page: https://app.apptweak.com/users/sign_in
Find and click on the "Sign in with Single Sign-On" link
Enter the email address of your AppTweak account, which should also be your Okta account email adress
Click Continue
Thanks to the Okta integration, you will be authenticated and redirected to your dashboard
