List of Metrics
You can access two types of metrics for AppsFlyer, either "Growth" metrics or "Custom metrics".
"Growth" metrics are predefined metrics such as Installs, Revenues, or Sessions that you can further filter with the dimension field.
"Custom metrics" provide you with an exact count of events or users based on your selected dimension.
You can find more detail about the metrics below:
Metric name in AppTweak | Description |
Installs | Event count of "af_conversion" in Appsflyer. Includes any type of attribution such as Installs, Re-engagement or Re-attribution. |
Revenues | Amount of revenue in USD. Corresponds to "revenue_usd" in AppsFlyer terms. |
Sessions | Event count of "af_session" as defined by AppsFlyer. |
Event Count | Number of event occurrences. |
User Count (Unique) | Number of unique users performing the event. |
Historical Data
You can get up to 6 months of historical data. To do so you'll need to contact your AppsFlyer Partner Solutions teams and ask them to provide us with historical data. Otherwise AppTweak will only start collecting data from the day you've made the integration.
Activity Data
AppsFlyer has two ways to analyze user event data. Event data refers to actions that are performed after an install, such as in-app purchases, subscriptions, registrations, and level completions. AppsFlyer either groups this data by chronological event date or user acquisition date.
Data grouped chronologically is referred to as Activity Data.
Data grouped by user acquisition date is referred to as Lifetime Value (LTV).
In Reporting Studio, we will always display Activity Data. It's important to bear this in mind when comparing numbers with your AppsFlyer dashboard, as you might be seeing LTV instead.
