In the Keyword Explorer, we also provide you with 2 navigation tools to discover more relevant keywords for your app store optimization:
Keyword Clusters (AI)
Drawing inspiration from the vital concept of SEO keyword clustering, our Data Science team has engineered an advanced algorithm that identifies keyword clusters based on closely related terms according to the app stores.
Keyword clusters are a powerful weapon for your ASO, as we highlight the groups of keywords that Apple or Google identifies as closely related to your input. Clusters are a goldmine for finding new keyword opportunities that are potentially less competitive than your seed keywords.
Targeting keywords in related clusters could also help increase your app's relevancy to its top seed keywords, thus improving your keyword rankings in the long term.
Our keyword clusters are powered by Atlas AI, our unique intelligence trained exclusively on App Store and Google Play data. As such, they have been fine-tuned to discern keyword/app relationships specifically in an app store context.
To illustrate this, here is an example of keyword clusters for "run" (which, thanks to Atlas AI, we know is more relevant to mobile games) vs. "running" (which is more relevant to running apps).
Related Keywords (AI)
Similar to our keyword clusters, we have another navigation tool that allows you to browse between semantically close (again in the eyes of the store) keywords to your input. Here we don't have the notion of groups (= clusters) but are simply identifying keywords that are close semantically to your input.
Next Steps: Identify the keywords with the highest potential for your app
Once you've explored your desired keywords and gained a better understanding of store results, optimize your metadata with the Keyword tool. This section allows you to analyze your app's or competitors' performance and fine-tune your keyword strategy. You can access the Keyword Research tab by selecting an app from the Live Search results, or through the sidebar menu.
