The Campaign Manager is your central hub for managing and optimizing your Apple Ads campaigns efficiently. It consolidates all campaign data—both from Apple Ads and MMPs like Adjust and AppsFlyer—into a single view, making it easier to monitor performance and take action where needed.

Importing existing campaigns into AppTweak
Before managing your campaigns, you’ll first need to connect your Apple Ads account to AppTweak.
To manage your campaigns in AppTweak, you must have admin or finance access and provide AppTweak with read-and-write permissions.
When you first add your integration, AppTweak will import the maximum historical data available with varying levels of granularity:
Daily data → Up to 89 days
Weekly data → Up to 52 weeks
Monthly data → Up to 23 months
Once your Apple Ads console is connected, AppTweak will automatically import your existing campaigns, ad groups, keywords, bids, and performance metrics into the platform.
Creating a new campaign in AppTweak
Once your Apple Ads account is connected, you can also create new campaigns directly in AppTweak.
💡 You can also duplicate an existing campaign in just a few clicks to streamline the setup process.
To create a completely new campaign, head to the Campaign Manager page and click “New Campaign.”
For Search Results ads, you can select a campaign template that automatically assigns a type (Brand, Competitor, Generic, or Custom) to align with Apple Ads best practices.
When setting up your campaign, you'll need to:
Select an organization, campaign group, app, and target countries.
Set a daily budget and start/end date (optional).
AppTweak will automatically generate a campaign name based on your selections (you can also change this yourself).
Setting ad group parameters
Next, define your audience and max CPT bids. We prefigure these settings based on the campaign type you have selected.
💡 The suggested max CPT bid is based on benchmarks from similar campaigns in the same country and app category, providing guidance for competitive bidding.
Linking custom product pages
In the final step, you can choose to link an existing Custom Product Page to an ad variant.
Once everything is confirmed, your campaign is ready to launch!
How campaign data syncs between Apple Ads and AppTweak
Campaign changes sync across both platforms at different intervals to ensure smooth performance:
Every 5 minutes: Changes made in AppTweak to campaign status (start/pause), creation or removal of campaigns, ad groups, or keywords, and updates to fields such as daily budget, campaign name, and max CPT bids.
Every 8 hours: Changes made on the Apple Ads console to campaigns, ad groups, and keywords.
Every 24 hours: All daily reporting data.
💡 We recommend managing campaigns exclusively within AppTweak to avoid conflicts. If a campaign is edited simultaneously in both AppTweak and Apple Ads, the changes made in AppTweak will overwrite those made in the console.
Monitoring campaign & ad group performance
Once your campaigns are running, the Campaign Manager provides detailed tracking and reporting tools:
Metrics are displayed as daily values over a 30-day period, excluding today’s data for accuracy.
You can customize charts to monitor trends in one or multiple metrics per day, week, or month.
Breakdown charts (top right corner of the graph) to analyze performance by campaign or by country.
For even more granular insights, filter performance data by country, status (running, paused, etc.), campaign type (Brand, Competitor, etc.), and more.
💡 Note: If your campaign was created via AppTweak, the campaign type is assigned based on your selection during creation. Otherwise, campaign types are attributed based on keyword groupings.
Customizing the campaign performance table
The table below the charts provides a detailed breakdown of your campaign and ad group performance.
Sort columns to highlight the most relevant KPIs for your use case.
Custom product pages
Custom product pages allow marketers to tailor their App Store presence to different user segments by customizing screenshots, app previews, and promotional text.
In AppTweak’s Campaign Manager, you can easily track how your custom product pages perform in Apple Ads campaigns - so you know which creatives drive results, and what you should scale or improve.
Link custom product pages to campaigns
When creating a campaign in AppTweak, you can assign any existing custom product page to ad variants, ensuring each ad group uses the most relevant creative for its audience.
Custom product pages must be created in App Store Connect. Once they have been created, they will automatically appear in AppTweak via your Apple Ads integration.
Monitor custom product page performance
After publishing your custom product pages, the next step is understanding how they perform.
AppTweak includes a dedicated section in Campaign Manager where all of your app’s custom product pages are listed, along with key performance metrics like:
Spend
Installs
Conversion rate
Tap-through rate (TTR)
Clicking a custom product page opens a detailed view where you can:
Preview the screenshot set
Track its performance trends over time
See which ad groups the custom product page is linked to
And more
Spy on your competitors’ custom product pages
Beyond tracking your own custom product pages performance, AppTweak also helps you stay ahead of (and get inspired by) the competition.
Available in AppTweak's Creative Explorer, CPP Explorer allows you to uncover how other apps use custom product pages for Apple Ads:
Browse custom product pages for any app, keyword, or category
See which features are being promoted
View all the keywords each custom page is targeting
By centralizing your Apple Ads campaign management in AppTweak, you can monitor performance, automate optimizations, and scale your campaigns more efficiently.
