How to connect Zendesk to App Reviews Manager

Follow these steps to start replying to app store reviews directly from your Zendesk account.

⚠️ To integrate your AppTweak account with Zendesk, you must have access to an ADMIN role in Zendesk.

Integrate AppTweak with your Zendesk account to start replying to app store reviews directly from Zendesk (also available for Salesforce & Slack). This integration is available for all App Store and Google Play apps. The number of replies per month depends on your chosen App Reviews Manager: More Replies package.

Follow these simple steps (or watch the video below) to connect your AppTweak and Zendesk platforms:

1. Install the Review Management by AppTweak app in the Zendesk Marketplace

Before you can set up your first Zendesk integration, you must first install the Review Management by AppTweak app (in Zendesk), and connect your store consoles to our Review Management area (in AppTweak).

  • Click "Install", select the Zendesk workspace you'd like to install the Review Management app in, and follow the instructions on Zendesk.

2. Connect your store consoles in AppTweak > Review Management (if you haven't already)

  • Click "Connect my console" (first time) or “Connect my apps” (in the Review Management section), and follow the steps to connect your account.

3. Create a Zendesk integration in AppTweak

  • After connecting your store consoles to AppTweak, go to the “Integrations” section from the expanded menu of the Review Management sidebar.

  • Expand the "Zendesk" dropdown, and click "Add an integration".

  • Select the filters (apps, languages, countries, reply status, etc.) you want to apply to the reviews you want sent to Zendesk.

  • After clicking "Set Integration", a token will be generated in the Zendesk integration section on AppTweak. Click the 3 dots to the right of the integration, and "copy token".

4. Link your AppTweak integration with your Zendesk account

  • In Zendesk, go to the "Zendesk Admin Center” > "Apps and Integrations" > "Channel apps" and click on the “Review Management by AppTweak” icon

  • Add an account and paste the token into the displayed box.

  • You will now start receiving your app store reviews in the Zendesk Support Agent Workspace!
